Private Twitter Messages
If someone is following you, you can send them a direct message in the form "d username message...".
Unlike normal tweets, direct messages are not public: only the author and recipient can view direct messages. Users can receive direct messages on their phones and/or via email.
note: you cannot send a direct message to a user who is not following you. Twitmart serves as a "proxy" to facilitate private communications between users that do not follow each other.
